Plants in Glass Houses Shouldn’t Be Ungrateful

We’re just the edge plants and can’t see out, but the tall and climbing plants tell me that it’s winter outside. That means that this is a fake environment, not tied to the cycles of nature at all. This path might as well be a yellow brick road, and this might as well be OZ. Unlike Dorothy, we were never in Kansas. I could just wilt.

With all that light coming in, those plants will use fewer bulbs.
Fewer bulbs . . .the double meaning was not lost.
Point and counterpoint when I see both plant pics (March 3 & March 4) in one sitting. Looks like a fun blog to revisit!
Thanks for visiting, Donna! I’m an avid gardener and plant lover, so plants are frequent “speakers” on my blog. Check out the Flickr photostream of my extensive streptocarpus collection: http://www.flickr.com/photos/my_streps/
