Inept Aliens

I think we’re in trouble. Our Prime Directive was to blend in with the local life forms so that we could observe them incognito. I think we kind of look like these creatures, but our camouflage is just plain wrong.

Funny, but I got the same reaction as Gauchoman. Just a what the heck is that doing there. Art really has odd characters.

Chihuly has had installations of his glass art all over the world (including hanging over the canals of Venice).
Oh, I know his work and do like most of it. Some pieces are a bit ‘different’ and it takes some getting used to this type of glass work.
Agreed.
A Close Encounter of The Floral Kind. Looks like Trouble With Triffids.
Live Long and Prosper.
May the Flora be with You.
I’m fauna that comment.
I know that it’s supposed to be a toss up as to whether or not the comment/picture is groan inducing or laugh inducing. I’ve gotta say that in the couple of months that I’ve been following the blog, it’s been 95% groan, perhaps your puns are too powerful…
That sounds about right. Maybe when I’m wielding “The Power of the Pun,” I’m actually going for an “Ouch!” rather than a chuckle. I’ll take a strong reaction any way I can get it.
I knew that was Dale Chilhuly! I love his work!
Yes, he’s amazing.
What is that? Perhaps the best description is an “unidentified floral object.”
Also, I wonder if that bizarre looking pot could be repossessed because the bank has *a lien* on the property?
A UFO? *a lien* on the property? LOVED those, Dave! Click on the “Chihuly” link below the caption to see other equally strange glass creatures. (I went to the exhibit.)
