Didn’t Die. Was Just a Little EARLY.

As the patron angel of the outside Christmas decorations, my real work is just beginning.  No one experiences post-holiday depression worse than decorations that won’t be needed for another year.  My date book here shows that I’m booked for counseling sessions through the end of August.  That’s when I can start saying, “Cheer up; it’s almost December.”  That works better than saying “Eight months down, three more to go.”  Last time I said that a wreath hung herself on the front door.

We use the snow & cold as an excuse not take it down. Sometimes it works. 🙂 There are those who then see how close we are to next season, according to the stores & commercials, that they just spruce up the old stuff. 😀

Did the wreath feel like she was going in an ever-green circle?

What’s this?
