Would They Really Try to End It All?

GASP!  DO YOU THINK THEY COULD HAVE STUFFED ANY MORE OF US INTO THIS THING!  I’m losing feeling in my stems; the daffodils are all crying; and the tulips are, by nature, claustrophobic.  This “Welcoming Spring Display” is a torture chamber.  I’m most worried about the tulips.  They’ve all got loaded pistils.

They will do fine. They have lots of stamen-ah. If they ended it, all would it be euthanfragria ?

  • Dave says:

If they tried to end it all, could this flower arrangement turn into a flower arraignment?

    • Well framed, Dave, but only if the tulips, attempting to commit suicide, weren’t 100% successful and injured one of the other flowers with a pistil. (I can’t believe we’re having this discussion.) 🙂

  • renegade4god says:

    Would anyone send them flowers?

  • Alastair says:

I would say that they are in a jam, but every one knows you only get tulips from hamster jam

    • You’ve totally lost me with the “hamster jam” reference. Is this a UK expression. Does it mean “hamster manure”?

      • Alastair says:

Ahh. It’s part of a joke.
This kid comes home from school and says to his mum that he has a pot of jam made from gerbils. His mum is disgusted and throws it out the window. The next day there are flowers growing there. She says to a passer by – “are they tulips?” he says “no, they are crocuses. You only get tulips from hamster jam”

It’s a play on words from Tulips from Amsterdam

What’s this?
