I’m stuck on just loving the scene here.
Looks so peaceful & relaxing.
Sheri had the same reaction to the photo. See my response to her for the occasion.
John – I haven’t a quick whit reply for you – but, wanted to say I love this photograph. It speaks of a beautiful day to relax and perhaps unwind a bit without all the worry of the world around us.
I was actually working. The deck you see is attached to a country club, and I was in a picnic shelter next door with my food committee from church setting up a lunch for about 50 golfers (the golf outing a fundraiser for our church). Of course I ALWAYS have my camera with me! (The “Let the chips fall” photo for Sept. 3 was from the same event.)
I know I am. XD
If the river doesn’t make it all pruny, then I am sure it will get pruned anyway.
Sadly, the frost will get it before it grows another foot.
If they catch you, they may snip you back, and once again you will be behind bars.
And it will get decked in the process. 🙂
Down by the Ohio, I’ve got the sweetest little O, My! O!
I’m going right back there to meet her, and then O,
picture me when I put my arms around her and kiss her again;
Down by the Ohio,
Being a Bobcat and not a Buckeye, I wasn’t familiar with this song, so I had to Google it. You’ve clued me in to an OSU tradition.
That my be an OSU tradition, but I think that’s an old song.
You’re right. Here’s the history of the song: http://www.sgsosu.net/osu/songs/downbytheohio.html
Perfect because it has a vaudeville feel. … BTW … I’m much more a Bobcat than a Buckeye.
What a relief! XD
“Don’t bank on my getting to the river real soon.”
I can always bank on YOU to grow a good pun.
Ivy been waiting to get out. Now I can plant my feet on the ground
I’ll leaf it there and let you have an early victory.
Okay, that’s vine.
Hehe I was just about lost there as well
Plantpunzel, plantpunzel, let your leaves down!
