I have to deliver toys all over the world tonight, and my sack fell apart. I’ll have to climb down the chimneys with the toys in my arms. I think I’ll call in sick.

He made it to my house. Although – I had to chuckle at this post for more than one reason. Santa got the wrong starter team for the girls’ game system. So- he left an Oops note to make an exchange. 😉
Santa leaving an Oops note is as funny as Santa calling in sick!
I think he’ll get the sack
In the spirit of the season, Al say divine!
He’ll get the divine sack 😉
That would be ONE superior who could have something to say about missing the only annual travel day.
Nah … he’ll make it!
Merry Christmas to you and yours … and thanks for the goodness you give us.
And also to you and yours, Frank. Thank YOU for all the right ANGLES.
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. I have never thought of Santa having a sick day! Merry Christmas, John!
Merry Christmas Sheri! Rare look inside my tilted mind: (1) take photo; (2) ask myself why Santa would be holding so many toys; (3) come up with the idea of the sack “tearing,” no, “ripping,” no, FALLING APART; (4) imagine what that would mean for Santa’s delivery routine; (5) need a punch line and discard a half dozen before a flash of unmitigated brilliance: Santa wanting to do what many workers would do when having a really bad day–call in sick; (6) amuse myself immensely with my accomplishment, which usually (but not always) is a sign that I NAILED the caption.
Duct Tape does wonders! Stick to it Santa!!
You’re right. SURELY the elves use ROLLS of it in the workshop at the last minute to fix toys pre-launch.
Maybe a kid somewhere asked for a sack that you can borrow?
What, Santa an Indian-giver? (Probably no longer a politically correct term.)
Enlist the aid of a subordinate Claus.
