I am the top of the atrium in the Thompson Center in Chicago. People look up at me and wonder how any architect could envision a design so complex. I know the answer. Bad potato salad.

Gird your loins and climb the heights that intersect your gaze. Or ach you trekking up to platform nine at the rum ? 🙂
First sentence makes sense, Joseph, but the second sentence is one of the (rare) times that I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about! 🙂
arch you trekk (architect )
Platform nine a vague science fiction reference 🙂
rum in the atrium punch bowl – I was stretching it 😀
Good. You haven’t snapped.
Another fine mesh we are in
Borrowed your line to reply to econhoef
And why not 🙂
I’ll try to shred some light on this. “Bad potato salad?” Quit meshing around!
A fine mesh your comment’s gotten into.
If you look at it long enough, a 3-d image comes in view.
(dated reference there LOL)
Thanks for reminding me of one of my HUGE failures in life. 🙂 No matter HOW long I looked at those images, I was the only one I know who could NEVER see the hidden image (probably because of the uncorrected lazy eye in my right eye which only gives me a partial picture–thus affecting my stereoscopic vision).
Don’t worry; you’re forgiven.
No, me too! I could only see something if I crossed my eyes, and then that just popped out the 2-d background with no detail!
Finally, I am not alone!!
Bless you, my Sister, for your comforting camaraderie.
Looking down appears just as dizzying. Glad to see you achieving such heights with your photography skills, John.
