No, my mechanical friend, you might be old and rusty, but you have not been put out to pasture. Pasture’s over yonder.

The barn-wood is priceless. My heart be still.
The street I live on dead-ends into this farm. The barn is just a stone’s throw from the houses.
Neither rust ,dust, or must, shall keep this barn or his hard-working friend
from doing what he was purposed for.
“Must” as in “mustiness”? Methinks you’ve just coined a noun.
Barns are fun! And neat!
This one is in our neighborhood–at the edge of our subdivision is a farm. THANKS, Todd, for visiting and commenting!
It was a wee barn , but too old to be a bairn. The bairn had russet hair. The barn hair’d rust.

You knocked me Dover with gratitude.
“…not in my back (or side) yard.” By the way John, is that barn still standing? I always liked how it looked amongst the homes in the neighborhood.
Yes, it’s still just off the end of Carroll Rd. Took the shot the week got the new camera.
And remember, “Neither snow nor rain nor sub-zero temps shall stay . . .” Keep WARM this week!
