I’m the dominant male here. I’ll give you 10 seconds to leave the feeder. Unless, of course, you’re not done.

The other bird might have only been a bishop . May of not gone to the College. You will be able to tell by their flight path. The bishops always travel in a diagonal. Cardinals keep their hats straight and their hand close to their vestments. Both types of birds tend to flock. 🙂
And all flights lead to Rome.
You have to be careful using your cell phone on those flights. The Roman charges can have you paying penance . 😀
Lower Cardinal- Keep a look-out for that pesty squirrel. I’ll get some seeds, then we can switch positions. Upper Cardinal- Hurry up! The snow isn’t getting any warmer and my stomach isn’t getting any fuller.
Careful, imagining dialog between animals, plants, and objects is what led me where I am–over 1,000 posts later. It’s addicting.
The Red Barons rule!
That one is posing like a baron!
You should see how they treat the Ordinals!
(Math humor. Or an attempt at some at least…)
A prime comment!
Cardinals are indeed very pope-ulous around here, no matter their rank.
You know who can like your comment? Vati-can.
Cardinals only get super pissy when it’s mating season. Wait.
You should see how aggressive both the males and females are (against their rivals) when I throw some seed out on the patio UNDER the feeder!
I spent 23 years in Iowa. I definitely know from cardinals.
They are like red flowers in the winter landscape.
Ummm 10,9,8,7,6,5… I’m done
Funny! Thanks for visiting and commenting!
