  • LOL! I often think of squirrels as worry-warts – probably because of their dash and stop movements. I see you seem to attach that idea too. They are probably stopping to think – is something here to eat me?…is something taking my stuff? But I love the turn off the oven idea. They definitely look like they have that ‘uh-oh’ moment. 🙂

    Squirrels have a great memory. Many years ago I saw a squirrel limping and having trouble climbing up to steal the bird seed. With a little difficulty I caught him and found he had a nasty thorn in his paw. I removed it and he went on his way. Recently at the Home and Flower
    show I was watching the famous water skiing squirrel. The little furry tailed rodent stopped his act and lovingly waived to me. A squirrel never forgets.
