At Least You Don’t Have to Do TRICKS!

Elephant Jars

We’re ELEPHANTS–mighty, noble beasts!  Here we’re reduced to being a herd of handles on graduated compote dishes.  Add sweaty human hands, and it’s just too much!

They will be remembered for their clarity of thought and their calm compote-ure.

The real elephant in the room is the amount of rum in the fruit compote – it was exponentially Cuba to the Jamaican and Beyond.

At least the circus is giving you a comfortable retirement. No more holding tails, no more stepping up onto a small platform. No more
heavy work. But wait, has anyone asked if you want to retire? I think
you enjoyed what you did. The roar of the crowds. The feeling of
    usefulness…
I got carried away. None of the compote dishes on your dining room
table ever experienced the excitement I pictured.

    • I wondered the same thing myself–if the elephants would miss the circus. Just in case you thought that it was OUR dining room table, see the links beneath the captions all this week. The photos are all from that exhibit.
