Veggie Tray

I didn’t mind being plucked from the field.  I didn’t mind the stay at the store.  I didn’t even mind being sliced.  What I do mind is the parsley.  It itches.

I didn’t know that about parsley. Building a veggie tray turns out to be a big deal. The tomatoes don’t get along with the celery. The cucumbers have to separate the two teams of peppers. The carrots have the job of
containing the whole event. Next year we won’t garnish with parsley. We’ll check with the kale family to see if they get along.
