Sunlight streaming through my glass,
sunlight greening up the grass.
I’ve waited long for this, ’tis true;
Winter’s over! Whoo Hoo Hoo!

Hooray! Happy Day! I’m wearing open toe shoes today…It’s actually warm, though I must admit I had to use the heater in the car to keep them warm on the way to work early in the day. But it’s actually hot in the sun outside today. 🙂 I hope more sun comes your way!!
After experiencing wonderful spring weather, we are back to highs in the 60s and morning lows in the 30s for a week (but above freezing).
Yes cooler weather is returning for us too, though we are unlikely to freeze again after May 1st. Nice to get a taste of sun!
The lakes are still frozen here – no snow in the yard today,……. unfortunately we may get messy snow-rain late in the week.
I still blame Disney for Frozen – all those sweet little girls singing “Let It Go” must have done something. 😀
Check out Chris Martin-Calgary photographer’s post to see the Canadian Spring seasonal identity disorder.
Those false starts to spring ARE a challenge, but I can say something with certainty that I wasn’t sure of a month ago: Spring DOES Come. It’s not impossible for us to have another snow, but all of the flowering trees are in bloom.
And – poetic too!
I love colored glass, but especially in the sunshine. Nice job! ❤
This piece of stained glass has shown up several times (sometimes as the focus and sometimes because it’s hanging above items that are conversing on the windowsill).
The heart of the matter is crystal clear, spring is here!
Spring is sprung
The grass is ris
I wonder where the flowers is.
Probably by the dumbest kid in the class in a one-room school early in the last century.
You could heartly wait, could ya?
Well, in facet, I couldn’t.
A heart of glass . . . caution ahead.

Speaking of Heart of Glass, I heard Debbie Harry (Blondie) is still touring.
I recently heard the term for when you get a song stuck in your head. It’s called an “Ear Worm.”
