Sadly, we’re a messed-up society. We down-to-earth types are overshadowed by the hangers-on, and some of the low-lifes moonlight as pole dancers.

I would be more able to handle those few kangaroos in my yard than umpty-dozen thousand plants.
I see this as a reminder of our future cloned society. Minimal individualism with rows of plants waiting to be taken care of by some entity. No say in this care. Feed and fertilize today, water tomorrow.
Looks like a government I read about. Do they recycle the weak and
dying to feed to the new stronger plants like soylent green?
I can’t say that I detected anything sinister at the greenhouses, but who knows what transpires at night?
