Wow! How big was it?
Thanks for your “likes,” the follow, and your comment! With a wingspan of about 5 inches, the Luna Moth is one of the largest moths in North America. They only live 7 days.

It is not the green Hornet, but it is aerodynamic. It will no doubt lift off when the sun hits it.
There was one just like it on the OTHER side of the garage door frame (perhaps different genders). Luna moths only live 7 days.
I hope that’s a kite hanging on your wall! If not it reminds me of ‘Mothra’
or ‘Mothman’. I guess you could get a pet bat to keep down the night
insects. But then you might have to…
It’s actually a luna moth–the largest of the moths.
A Luna moth? With knowledge like that, you must be ‘Moth-Man’.
