The “Get Pie Source” (GPS) is accurate!
That interpretation of the abbreviation works for me! It’s actually our neighbor’s tree (just over the property line), but she tells me to pick all I want. I gave her a piece of warm cherry cobbler.
I hope someone is going to make a cherry pie with that bountiful fruit.
Don’t wait too long. The birds like cherries one or two days before they’re totally ripe. I checked, You’re in Ohio, I’m in Ohio, and I like cherry pie.
For some reason the birds didn’t attack the tree this year as soon as they usually do, and I was able to pick enough ripe cherries to make a delicious cherry cobbler.
…and not necessarily for a light pit stop either.
I had something of a LONG “pit stop” as I pitted a large bowl of the cherries. Took me forever.
As always makes me smile… I love your lovely smiling touches to the photographs or to the things… Thank you dear John, have a nice weekend, love, nia
As always it’s a joy to see your image show up in my comments! You have a nice weekend also!
