As you can see, I’ve led a pure life. I was put into millions of cars, but I always ended up exhausted.

Now there’s a sign from long ago that I remember.
A sign of the times. Gas prices are coming down again. 7/31/15 $2.28
a real bargain compared to some previous $4.00 prices. I wonder how much gas was when this Pure sign was still earning his keep. It’s all
temporary. The sign won’t go up but the prices will.
As a value-added service, I just found you a chart to show gas prices over time:
The green line is in inflation-adjusted dollars.
Sure enough, you finally gassed out!
If I didn’t know it, I would be sure this chart is from an economist!
THAT’S the pot calling the kettle a spreadsheet.
Until 1970 gas was really stable. Thanks for that support data. I’m not sure if it make me feel better or not. I really like that Pure sign. I see those things on American Pickers.
The auction that this photo came from included the term “Petroliana” in the newspaper ad. Learned a new term–it’s anything to do with old gas stations (signs, pumps, etc.).
Those are fighting words.
That has a certain ring to it
