How does something as beautiful as I am emerge from a plain green leaf?  (I really need to find a Narcissists Anonymous Meeting.)

  • Out petaling his magnificence! (I have one this color at home too…so beautiful. It made it’s first full-sized bloom when it was only 3 leaves old. Remarkable.)

    The answer is…….Christmas Cactus! Blooming during this season is a charming attribute of this plant.

    At this time of the year, anything with bright green and especially a fabulous bloom is a beautiful sight. I’m going out today to get a Christmas cactus.

    • I have three: the salmon one shown, which I bought, a red one that a friend sent us as a holiday gift, and another red one of my daughter’s that I’m nursing back to life for her.
