They wanted me to hold their tree until New Year’s weekend, at least. Needles to say, they bought it too early.

I’ve gone dry, fallen puns need less wit.
John have you visited Crusty Pie or Bonnywood Manor ? The blogger takes stills from old movie and writes up dialogue to the scenes or little descriptive tableaus. Great hilarity follows. 🙂
Thanks for sharing these!
It’s not when you bought the tree. It’s when they cut it down. I hear they’re cutting them down in July and August.
That tree wasn’t fresh. We made sure to buy a fresher tree this year.
Looks like you and your tree had a bit of a falling out. 🙂
Photo was of last year’s tree after the holidays. 🙂
Good one John!! You will remember this day later, when you walk barefoot on the carpet where the tree stood. You will be “needled” -guaranteed. Ouch! did someone forget to water the tree??
Used to have a rough time getting the needles up with a Hoover, but our second-hand Dyson gets them all!
The best thing about artificial trees – no pine needles all over the place. And you get one of these to throw on the floor for the cats to play with
We put up both a real and artificial tree this year. Actually 5 artificial trees (at least a little one in every room).
That’s going to be fun when it comes time to take them down.
Yes, it’s when we pay for all the decorating we’ve done.
Yep. Putting the stuff up is fun. Taking it down is a chore and a half.
Hmmm, stumped on that one.
Better than trunked.
Yet another reason I do not have a real Christmas tree in my house… another is because my poor hubby is allergic to cedar 😦
The photo was from January 2016 when the holidays were over, but tree needles ARE a mess to clean up!
Noooooo!!! It CAN’T Be So Soon!!! »
