We’ve survived the holidays to see the dawn of the new year. As cut flowers, though, our days are numbered. January 2, 3, 4, and maybe 5.

Not vahz-cillating , they made their point. Alas, they were under cut and won’t make the first quarter.
Forced to show your colors at this time.
I get the point.
Setta the vase for next year,
and continue to whine.
I’m not sure it’s whining if it’s the week you know you’ll die. 🙂
It’s not only in sports that some don’t make the cut.
And it doesn’t always stem from ability.
Nice. Great to see a photo with “2017” on it as well.
I made the date switch a lot earlier than I did last year.
Haha. I didn’t take any photos in December and only one or two each in October and November. I am hoping to double that in January. Problem is when it is difficult to lift the camera.
A physical difficulty?
Yeah. My back has got much, much worse.
Sorry to hear it, 😦
Not to worry. It just means I don’t have to go out and meet people lol
I think there’s a pill for that.
One of the rare (actually previously nonexistent) times I don’t get the connection you’re making.
Seems I’ve heard of people using aspirin to preserve plants and little blue pills for Christmas trees. Maybe I’m missing the point-settia.
I have heard of that. Most cut flowers these days come with little packets of plant preservative, and I have a plastic bottle of Christmas-tree preservative concentrate.
